Felix Siegl is an independent writer, researcher and critic based in Hamburg and Vienna.
He often combines critical writing with curatorial research, focusing on analyzing, contextualizing, and communicating contemporary art and current artistic strategies. Working across disciplines, he engages with both visual and performative practices, interrogating questions of quality, relevance, and collective impact in contemporary art.
He occasionally situates his own artistic practice at the intersection of conceptual analysis and practical implementation, drawing on existing works and concepts through transhistorical examination and reactivation.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Cross-Disciplinary Strategies with distinction at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in 2024.
During this time, he also had the opportunity to study at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland, and the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany.
